Proving the apple doesn’t fall from tree, seven years ago, Sandy Hackett — son of legendary comedian and longtime Aspen resident Buddy Hackett — and Lisa Dawn Miller — daughter of renowned Motown songwriter Ron Miller — teamed up to produce a musical and theatrical performance that recreates the experience of a 1960s Rat Pack show.

For the fourth time in a row, Sandy Hackett and his wife Lisa Dawn Miller Hackett are bringing Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show to the Parker Playhouse for the holiday season.

“Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Christmas,” which played for a single performance Dec. 5 at the Fred Kavli Theatre in the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, pays tribute to the freewheeling, cigarettes-and-tuxedo glamour of old Las Vegas.
